PUBLISHED: August 31, 2013

The DHL Western Province Under-19 team started the second half of their 2013 season on a high note with a convincing 22-5 win over the FS Cheetahs in Stellenbosch.

Province scored two tries in each half to register their second win of the season and keep alive their semifinal hopes.

The match was played in tough weather conditions at the Markötter Fields at Paul Roos, but the hosts were in great form and deserved their victory – despite conceding a try on the stroke of full-time.

DHL WP's tries were scored by No.6 flanker Ruan Rossouw, hard-working hooker Chad Solomon, livewire No.9 Pieter Schoonraad and replacement flanker Johan de Villiers. Flyhalf Chris Smith kicked one conversion.
