The Western Province Rugby Football Union sends sincerest condolences to the Eastern Province Rugby Union and the Rademan family following the sad passing of EPRU president Andre Rademan.

Rademan was recently re-elected as President of EP after serving an initial term of four years. He was also chairman of the board of the Southern Kings.

The 62-year-old lost his fight with COVID-19 this week and passed away in Gqeberha.

WPRFU president Zelt Marais paid tribute to Rademan and sent his condolences to all those affected by his passing.

“Andre Rademan was a staunch servant of the game we all love and his passing will leave a void in South African rugby circles.

“Our thoughts are with his friends and family and all those at the EPRU, who will be devastated by this loss,” he said.
