Loyal Western Province Rugby Football Union servant and administrator Joey Enslin has passed away at the age of 93.
Enslin joined the union as a clerk in 1950 and established herself as an authority on DHL Newlands and the WPRFU in her 41 years of service.
She retired in 1991 following an impressive career which saw her demonstrate incredible loyalty and organisational skills which had a far-reaching effect.
WPRFU President Zelt Marais extended his condolences to the Enslin family and paid tribute to a remarkable lady who made a huge impact in her time with the WPRFU.
“Joey Enslin was a legendary administrator who served the WPRFU with passion for 41 years. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time,” he said.
The funeral will be held at 11h00 on Friday, November 1 at the NG Kerk in Pinelands.
