PUBLISHED: May 17, 2019

There is an all-new front row for DHL Western Province in their SuperSport Rugby Challenge encounter against Zimbabwe Academy at DHL Newlands on Saturday.

There are seven changes in total to the DHL Western Province starting line-up, as they look for their fourth consecutive victory in what is their first home game this season.

The match will kick off at 14h30 at DHL Newlands, as a curtain-raiser for the Vodacom Super Rugby encounter between the DHL Stormers and the Crusaders.

Gates at DHL Newlands open at 14h10 on Saturday, with tickets available from wprugby.computicket.com, the stadium box office or any Computicket outlet.

Props Liam Hendricks and debutant Sazi Sandi will start either side of hooker Chad Solomon in the all-new front row.

The only other changes to the forward pack are on the flanks, with Johan du Toit and Brandon Valentyn on the sides of the scrum.

In the backline scrumhalf Godlen Masimla returns to the starting line-up in place of the injured Paul de Wet, while wing Sihle Njezula makes his first start of the campaign.

DHL Western Province Head Coach Jerome Paarwater said that his team are looking forward to what will be their first home game.

“It is always an honour to play at DHL Newlands and after three wins on the road it is important for us to back that up at home.

“We know that we will have to be focused, as Zimbabwe Academy will be highly motivated,” he said.
