Salmaan Moerat will start at lock for DHL Western Province U21 in their encounter with Cell C Sharks U21 in Durban on Saturday.
Moerat will be making his return from injury along with hooker Schalk Erasmus, while Junior Springbok centre Rikus Pretorius also comes into the starting line-up.
Pretorius is at outside centre, with Sihle Njezula shifting onto the wing and Angelo Davids among the replacements. In the formward pack Marcel Theunissen is at No.8, with Ben-Jason Dixon on the flank.
DHL Western Province U21 Head Coach Jerome Paarwater said that he is looking forward to seeing how the new combinations in his team go in Durban.
“There are some quality players who have come into the team, it is just about getting them settled and performing to the best of their abilities.
“We know that the Cell C Sharks will have a strong team, so this will be a good test of where we are at as a team,” he said.
