DHL Western Province U21 will face Cell C Sharks U21 in a curtain-raiser to the Currie Cup game at DHL Newlands on Women’s Day on Friday.
The coastal clash will kick-off at 12h30, ahead of the Currie Cup encounter between DHL Western Province and Phakisa Pumas at DHL Newlands.
DHL Western Province U21 have reverted back to the same starting line-up that did duty in their last game at DHL Newlands, which saw them pick up a 21-20 win against Vodacom Blue Bulls U21 two weeks ago.
The match will form part of a celebration of Women’s Day at DHL Newlands on Friday, with a ticket special (two Category One tickets for R100 BUY NOW), giveaways, competitions and special in-stadium entertainment.
DHL Western Province U21 Head Coach Jerome Paarwater said that his team will have to be at their best at DHL Newlands.
“As a team we are looking forward to playing at DHL Newlands and building on the winning momentum we have had recently.
“It will require a focused performance for 80 minutes, if we are to come away with the win,” he said.
