South Africa’s top junior girls players are in action at the SA Rugby U16 & U18 Girls Weeks staged at Jeppe High School in Johannesburg.

DHL WP U18 girls remain unbeaten at U18 Girls Week

The DHL Western Province U18 girls claimed another big win in the final round of the U18 Girls Week tournament.

Province backed up a 50-0 victory against the Golden Lions on Tuesday with a 55-7 victory against the Limpopo Blue Bulls on to finish their campaign unbeaten. The Capetonians scored 17 tries across the two matches.

Day 3 action –

The U16 fixtures scheduled for Monday were postponed until Wednesday, due to the adverse weather conditions in Johannesburg. All eight matches were completed on Wednesday, with Province victorious in their fixture.

DHL Western Province U16 girls scored four tries and kept their northern rivals pointless, in their 22-0 win against the Golden Lions.

Day 2 Action saw DHL Western Province U18 girls claim a big win in the first round of the U18 Girls Week staged at Jeppe High School. Province scored eight tries in their 50-0 win against the Golden Lions. Bronishia Hess (hooker) crossed the line three times, while centre Siyonela Macamba scored two tries.
