Western Province Rugby would like to extend its condolences to the Cohen family, with the passing of former long-serving WP and Springbok team doctor, Augie Cohen.

Dr Cohen, one of the most dedicated and popular rugby men in his time, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the age of 88.

Dr Cohen, who was born on August 27, 1927, is survived by his first wife Ellie and his second wife Lindsay, as well as his son Brent and daughters Vanessa and Michelle.

There will be a memorial service at the Temple Israel in Wynberg on Friday, September 25 at 10h00.

WP Rugby would like to extend its sympathies to Dr Cohen’s family and friends, may he rest in peace.
