In Super League A, joint leaders False Bay and Hamiltons played to a 24–24 draw which was a fair result given that neither side were prepared to give an inch in the race for the title.

Tygerberg were able to gain ground on the leaders after a come-from-behind 34–20 win over SK Walmers.

In results elsewhere, UWC defeated basement dwellers NNK 38–23, Durbell crushed Sir Lowrians 58–17, whilst Brackenfell’s superb season continues as they ran out 45–29 winners over Primrose.

In Super League B, Hamlets’ unbeaten run came to a halt as they were comprehensively outplayed by Union-Milnerton who picked up a 38–7 win. Pniel Villager picked up a 40–10 win over Goodwood to keep pace atop the leader board whilst Villager defeated St Georges 32–21 in Gustrouw.

Elsewhere, Kraaifontein went down 29–34 to Violets, Young Peoples defeated Helderberg 21–12, Collegians picked up a narrow 25–21 win over Hands & Heart while Bellville defeated Strand RFC 31–10.

In Super League C, Rangers maintained their lead at the top of the log with a 30–21 win over Franschhoek United. Young Stars remain hot on their heels and their 26–16 win over Hamediehs will boost their promotion chances.

Paarl got back to winning ways with a 36–17 win over Scottsdene, Langa narrowly defeated Masiphumelele 25–23, Kylemore picked up a good win over Lagunya, running out 34–28 winners whilst Raithby Universals were too strong for Silverleaf, running away 30–14 winners.

In the City League, Silvertree defeated Perseverance 29–5 and Busy Bees thumped Temperance/Cities 31–0.

In the Southern League, Titans went down to Thistles 5–13 whilst Young Wesleys continued their march to the first round title with a narrow win over Rocklands 15–14.

Over in the Northern League, League leaders Vineyards continued their imperious form with a comprehensive 89–0 drubbing of Strand Pioneers. Elsewhere, Van Der Stel defeated Khayelitsha 32–0, Stel/Cor went down to All Saints 26–29, Blue Stars defeated Atlantis 33–8, whilst Blakes thumped Delft 69–16.
