Two from two for Emerging WP

The DHL Western Province Emerging team made it two from two at the Southern Amateur Provincial Competition, booking themselves a place in the 2013 final in the process.

The WP side beat Eastern Province 39-30 on Day Two, after trailing by eight points to nine at half-time in Saldanha on Wednesday.

In the end, the WP Emerging side scored an impressive six tries to three, with inside centre Ethan Coenraad scoring twice and fullback Raymond Olivier, wing Caleb Smith, centre Danwill Erasmus and replacement scrumhalf Louis Nel also touching down.

The final round of matches, featuring the Cup and Plate Finals, will be contested on Friday, September 6, with the DHL WP Emerging team set to take on SWD in the Cup Final at 13h15 (in the day’s final and main game).
