Long-serving Western Province Rugby Ticketing Manager Revenne Maritz has sadly passed away.
Maritz first started working for Western Province Rugby in April 1988, her 35 years at the company making her one of the longest-serving members of staff.
There will be a moment’s silence held before the Vodacom United Rugby Championship semifinal at DHL Stadium on Saturday in her memory.
She will be dearly missed by her son Leroy Maritz and her grandchildren Levi and Emma.
As Ticketing Manager she was the face of the business, dealing directly with the most loyal supporters over the years.
If you had a season ticket at any point in the last 35 years, you knew Revenne personally. She truly was an integral part of the WP Rugby family.
Everyone who has worked at WP Rugby in that time will be in mourning, in particular her good friends Ria Malan, Gerna Knipe and Tania Trimmel.
