Michael Rhodes will appear before a SARU judicial committee in Cape Town on Tuesday, September 17, after receiving a red card in their Absa Currie Cup clash against the Vodacom Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

The DHL Western Province flank received a red card in the 35th minute of the match for allegedly contravening Law 10.4 (b) by tramping on Blue Bulls captain and No.8 Jono Ross in the face area.

Peter Ingwersen has been appointed as the Judicial Officer. The hearing will take place at 12h00.

DHL WP beat the Bulls by 29-18 on Saturday, their first Absa Currie Cup win in Pretoria since 2006.
