WP Rugby will be involved in three 2015 provincial semifinals this coming weekend, with the DHL Western Province Under-19s and senior sides playing away to the Blue Bulls on Friday and the DHL WP U21s at home to the Golden Lions on Saturday.
The BIG ONE on Friday, October 16 sees the Vodacom Blue Bulls playing host to DHL WP in the 2015 Absa Currie Cup semifinals at Loftus Versfeld at 19h10, the curtain-raiser seeing the DHL WP U19s taking on the Bulls in their semifinal at 16h30.
Lastly, on Saturday (October 17) the table-topping DHL WP Under-21s will play host to the Xerox Golden Lions’ U21 side in their semifinal at City Park (kick-off 14h00).
The DHL WP team, to face the Blue Bulls, will be announced on Tuesday afternoon, with the U19 and U21 teams released on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
Well done to all of our teams for once again making it into their respective play-offs, one of just two unions to have all three teams in the knockouts, with the U19s and seniors going into their semifinals as defending champions and our U21s having narrowly lost out in last year’s final.
