The Boland A team on Friday produced a solid performance in the 2015 Southern Amateur Provincial Championship Final against neighbours, DHL Western Province, in Velddrif to secure the title in front of their home crowd.
The victory for the Boland A team signalled the end of Province’s dominance in the competition, as they had won the last three titles going into today’s final.
The hosts came out firing in the first half and built up an encouraging 25-8 lead, and they held their nerve in the second half despite a strong comeback by the DHL Western Province Emerging team.
