DHL Western Province Women will face the Bulls Daisies in the SA Rugby Women’s Premier Division Final in Pretoria on Saturday.
Captain Sesethu Mtshazi’s side will take on the defending champions at Loftus Versfeld at 19h15 on Saturday evening.
The Bulls Daisies have lost just one match this season, which was against DHL Western Province Women at City Park and the visitors will be looking for a repeat of that result to take the spoils away from home this weekend.
DHL Western Province were forced to come from behind to snatch a dramatic 20-17 win in their semifinal against the Sanlam Boland Dames at DHL Stadium last week and will take some good momentum into this showpiece match.
Right wing Asiphe Mayaba scored the winning try in the dying stages of the semifinal and finds herself in the starting line-up this week, with Alichia Arries ruled out through injury.
The North-South clash will see the two teams that hosted semifinals last week square off, having finished as the top two sides after the league phase of the competition.
