Coach Nazeem Adams’ DHL Western Province Under-19 side today secured a 31-16 bonus point win over the Toyota Free State Cheetahs at Florida Park .
After suffering just their second loss of the 2012 season last weekend – going down 25-27 to the Sharks in Durban – the young and exciting Province team bounced back today claiming the top-of-the-log spot with an emphatic victory.
Down 0-13 at half-time, Province scored five tries in the second to run out deserved winners, with flyhalf Tommy Allan slotting three conversions too.
The DHL Western Province Under-19s have already secured a home semifinal and have just one league fixture left, against the SWD Eagles in George, next weekend.
