DHL Western Province coach Allister Coetzee has named an unchanged line-up for Saturday’s Absa Currie Cup Final against the Sharks at DHL Newlands (kick-off 17h30).
Captain Deon Fourie will lead the team into battle on Saturday, with national skipper Jean de Villiers once again serving as the team's vice-captain.
De Villiers will start in the No.13 jersey in what will also be his 50th match for DHL Western Province. Juan de Jongh has been named on the bench, as he was in last week's semifinal win over the Golden Lions.
“Being at Newlands is fantastic and great, but there are no guarantees,” said DHL WP coach Allister Coetzee.
“We have to be even better than last Saturday (in the semifinal) against the Lions. We have to start better and we have to stay in it for 80 minutes. We don't want to be in a situation in a Final where you take so long to work yourself back and get your dominance back.”
* More seating tickets will be made available tomorrow for further public ticket sales, once the season ticket returns have been sorted out on Wednesday afternoon.
All further ticketing availability for the final will be communicated later today (Wednesday, October 23) via the official WP Rugby website, Facebook and Twitter and also sent out to the media.
