There are a number of changes to the DHL Western Province U21 side to face Leopards U21 at City Park on Saturday.
Following their first defeat since 2022 last week, the home side will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face the Potchefstroom team at 12h00 on Saturday.
The talented JC Mars makes his first appearance of the season at fullback and he is joined in the backline by the likes of wing Joel Leotlela, centre Ulruch Wahl and flyhalf Alexander Vermeulen.
Wandile Mlaba is at No.8, while lock Adam de Waal, hooker Joshua Eras and prop Matthew Becket also come into the starting line-up.
Head Coach Johno van der Walt said that this will be a key game for his team for a few reasons.
“We were obviously disappointed to lose last week in Johannesburg, so it is important that we see a big response on Saturday.
“There are a few really exciting players coming into the team this week and it will be crucial for them to get gametime so we can build our depth and options as we move towards the play-offs,” he said.
