DHL Western Province U21 will resume their campaign when they take on Hollywoodbets Sharks U21 in Stellenbosch on Sunday.
The second half of the SA Rugby U21 Cup starts this weekend, with DHL Western Province looking for their fifth win of the campaign in the coastal clash, which kicks off at 12h00 on Sunday at Danie Craven Stadium.
The match 23 to face the Hollywoodbets Sharks U21 features six players who represented DHL Western Province in the Carling Currie Cup last week.
Captain Paul de Villiers, replacement back Kyle Smith, wing Joel Leotlela, centre Ulrich Wahl and props Zachary Porthen and Mhleli Khuzwayo all did duty for the senior side at DHL Stadium last week.
Head Coach Johno van der Walt said that after a good break, it will be important to hit the ground running when action gets back underway this weekend.
“We have seen quite a lot of our players gain great experience with the senior DHL Western Province side during the break and we want to see them make the most of that this weekend.
“There will be no room for complacency against an impressive Hollywoodbets Sharks U21 side on Sunday, so we know we have to be at our best for the full 80 minutes,” he said.
