DHL WP U19 win in Bloemfontein

DHL Western Province U19 showed great fighting spirit in their 61-31 win against Toyota Free State U19 at Shimlapark in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

It was a great comeback for the youngsters who narrowly lost their first outing against the Vodacom Blue Bulls U19 at DHL Newlands.

They outscored their hosts by nine tries to give on the day, with centre David Kriel claiming a hat-trick and flyhalf Christopher Schreuder kicking eight conversions for a personal haul of 21 points.

DHL Western Province U19 took a 26-5 advantage into the break and then pulled away even further in the second half, with replacement back Wagar Solaan coming on to grab a brace of tries himself.
