PUBLISHED: October 21, 2017

DHL Western Province U19 suffered a 32-25 defeat in their semifinal against Toyota Free State Cheetahs U19 at DHL Newlands on Saturday.

Having come into the game as the top-placed team with just one defeat this season, it was a frustrating outing for the youngsters.

The visitors scored four tries in the first half and then managed to hold out under immense pressure as DHL Western Province U19 threw everything at them in the second half.

Flank Shaine Orderson scored two first-half tries as the hosts went into the half-time break trailing 26-15.

The second half was tough, with DHL Western Province U19 scoring through wing Christian Ambadiang before Oderson got his hat-trick with the final movement, but it was not enough as Toyota Free State Cheetahs U19 claimed the win.
