There are three stand-alone home Currie Cup Qualifiers before the competition moves into the Premier Division phase in August, and two of them have been confirmed to be played at City Park.
These fixtures form part of the Western Province Rugby Football Union’s initiative to take rugby out to different communities and supporters.
Coach John Dobson’s DHL Western Province team’s fixtures against the EP Kings at 16h00 on Saturday, May 14 and against the South Western Districts Eagles at 16h00 on July 2 will both take place at City Park in Athlone.
The fixture schedued for June 18 against the Down Touch Griffins will take place at a community venue yet to be confirmed.
Tickets for the two games at City Park will be available at the gate at City Park on May 14 and July 2 at R20 for adults and R10 for scholars, while season tickets for DHL Newlands will also be valid for these matches.
