With three wins under their belts, DHL Western Province head into the second half of their Currie Cup campaign as one of only two unbeaten teams.
The convincing nine-try victory against Xerox Golden Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday saw defending champions DHL Western Province move into third place on the standings, with two games in hand on log-leaders Vodacom Blue Bulls.

It was the first defeat of the season for the Xerox Golden Lions and a crucial victory away from home in the context of the single round Currie Cup, as DHL Western Province look to retain their title.
With bonus-point wins in all three games thus far against Toyota Free State Cheetahs, iCollege Pumas and Xerox Golden Lions to their credit, DHL Western Province have a healthy points difference of 88, which is more than 50 points more than the Cell C Sharks who are the only other unbeaten team in the competition.
The table-topping Vodacom Blue Bulls have already played five of their six league matches in the single round competition, which means that DHL Western Province have two games in hand on them and one game in hand on second-placed Xerox Golden Lions with three league matches left to play before the knock-out phase.
Their next assignment will be against Tafel Lager Griquas in a match that kicks off at 19h30 on Saturday at DHL Newlands.
The DHL Newlands Faithful will have two games to enjoy on Saturday, with DHL Western Province U21 taking on their counterparts from the Cell C Sharks at 17h00 in a curtain-raiser to the Currie Cup game.
Following the clash with the Tafel Lager Griquas on Saturday, DHL Western Province will host the Cell C Sharks at DHL Newlands on September 29, before finishing the league phase of the Currie Cup against Vodacom Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on October 13.
With the Currie Cup only a single round competition this year, DHL Western Province have their sights firmly set on finishing on top of the standings and securing home advantage in the play-offs as they look to retain their title which they won in the final in Durban last year.
