The DHL Western Province Under-18 Academy team kicked-off their 2013 Academy Week campaign with a massive 93-0 win over the Red Valke on Monday afternoon.

Fullback and captain Dante van der Merwe ran in a hat-trick of tries, with fellow back Edwill van der Merwe also scoring three tries.

The DHL WP U18s led 46-0 at half-time and more than doubled their score in the second half, running in seven tries in both halves at Glenwood High School in Durban.

Aidynn Cupido kicked ten conversions and one penalty for DHL WP, and also scored a try in the first half, for a personal points tally of 28 points.
