DHL Western Province will face Vodacom Blue Bulls in a home Currie Cup semifinal at DHL Newlands on Saturday, with season tickets valid for this match and no further action required.
The defending champions made it six straight bonus point wins and secured top spot in the standings with a 34-7 victory against Vodacom Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in a match that was shorted to 40 minutes due to extreme weather conditions in the final round of the league phase of the competition, which means that the Currie Cup Final will be held at DHL Newlands on October 27 should DHL Western Province win their semifinal.
Should DHL Western Province go on to secure a home final at DHL Newlands, season tickets will not be valid and season ticket holders will need to pay for their seats by clicking on a link that will be emailed by Computicket with all the relevant information following the semifinal.
Make sure you are in the know with WP Rugby Mag
The match details, payment method and pricing of tickets to a potential final will all be included in the email that will be sent out on Monday, October 22, to all season ticket holders.
On payment, season tickets will automatically then be updated to include the home final fixture and you will be granted access at the gate on finals day. Should season ticket holders opt not take up this option by 12h00 on Wednesday October 24, their seats will be added back to the pool for sale and their season ticket will not scan at the gate.
Match tickets for the Currie Cup semifinal start at just R20 for scholars and R50 for standing room, up to R175 for prime seats. Tickets are available from all Computicket outlets, online at wprugby.computicket.com and at the stadium box office from 12h00 on Monday, October 15.
Thanks for your support, see you at DHL Newlands for the Currie Cup semifinal. We stand together.
