Flank Paul de Villiers will captain DHL Western Province U19 when they get their campaign underway against Vodacom Bulls U19 at Villager RFC on Saturday.

The home side go up against the defending champions at 13h00 on Saturday.

De Villiers is one of several players, along with the likes of fullback Bruce Campbell, flyhalf Jonathan Roche and scrumhalf FC Fourie, who featured regularly for DHL Western Province U19 last season.

Head Coach Nazeem Adams said that his team will have to be at their best from the word go.

“It is always a challenge facing any team from Pretoria, so it is important that we are as accurate as possible.

“It will take an 80-minute performance if we are to get our campaign off to a winning start. It is not a long competition, so we need to hit the ground running,” he said.
