SARU have announced that the Currie Cup Premier Division semifinals and final will be moved back by a week.

The semifinals were initially scheduled to be hosted on 7 and 8 October respectively, and the final a week later, on Saturday, 15 October.

The semifinals will now move to the following weekend, while the Currie Cup Premier Division final, as well as the SA Rugby Under-19 and Under-21 Championship finals, will all be played on Saturday, 22 October.

This has been done to avoid any potential clashes with the Castle Lager Rugby Championship Test between the Springboks and All Blacks in Durban on Saturday, 8 October.

This means that DHL Western Province U21 and DHL Western Province U19 will both play their semifinals against their respective counterparts from Toyota Free State Cheetahs on Friday, 14 October at City Park.

Semifinal fixtures: Friday, October 14
