Hamiltons moved to top of the standings in Super League A, after the eighth week of 2015 Club Rugby action in the Western Province.
Hammies did a demolition job on St Georges at the weekend, running in 13 tries as they won 87-12; flankers Niel Cleghorn and Gareth Rowe showing their class in this one-sided encounter.
In other SLA action, False Bay outgunned Villagers at Constantia, winning 48-7, and in a very tight encounter at the Green Point Track (pictured, above), whilst SK Walmers made better use of their chances to run out 19-8 winners against Tygerberg.
Cell C Community Cup champions, Durbanville-Bellville had too much firepower for Belhar beating their hosts 46-14 and Primrose got back to winning ways and scored an emphatic win at Rosmead against Sir Lowrians winning 41 to 25.
In Super League B, the top of the table teams remained unbeaten, with NNK demolishing Young Peoples by 60-17 – running in eight tries in the process – and Kuilsrivier were full value for their easy victory, 53-15 over Franschhoek at Kuilsrivier.
Brackenfell kept up their good form by beating Macassar 45-21 and Raithby scored their second win of the season with a 23-10 victory over Rangers at Surrey Estate. Pniel Villagers stunned Hearts at Eikendal scoring a narrow 30-27 victory and Collegians easily beat Violets 29-0 at Chukker Road.
In Super League C, Goodwood ran out 27-20 victors in a hard-fought match at Goodwood against neighbours Silverleaf in very difficult conditions. The hosts only got the upperhand late in the game with their forwards eventually taking control of the breakdown area. Winger Ethan Hess from Silverleaf caught the eye with his sniping runs along the touchline – standing out despite being on the losing sise.
Blue Jets scored a hard-fought victory over Masiphumelele beating them 20-15 and Elsies River scored a well-earned victory over Langa 29-18. Scottsdene scored an easy victory over Strand United, scoring 41 unanswered points, Silvertree ran out 17-15 winners in an exciting match at Malta Park and Strand scored a good 26-14 victory over Paarl at Gustrouw.
In the City League Region, Busy Bees continued their winning streak – beating Young Ideas 26-23 at Langa Stadium. Callies ran away with Progress, beating them 55-0, whilst Tech Tuine showed good form in beating Perseverance 62-0.
In the Northern Region, Kylemore lost their unbeaten record to Blakes, who beat them 19-18 in a hard-fought match at Kylemore, with All Saints beating Blue Stars United 27-6. Van der Stel remained top of the log with a solid victory over their hosts Atlantis with Delft scoring their first win of the season in beating Strand Pioneers 41-30. Imiqhayi stunned Whistling Wheels at Khayelitsha winning 27-25.
In the Simonsberg Region, top of the table frontrunners, the Pumas, scored a good victory over Faure 15-8 and Phizantekraal beat Constantia 29-17. Morning Star scored a convincing win over Evergreens 36-14 and Lwandle beat Lanquedoc 32-15.
