The Western Province Amateurs team won the Bowl title at the Safaricom Sevens in Nairobi, Kenya.
The WP team beat a Kenya Chairmen Select side by 26-12 in the Bowl Final at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, the team had beaten Rwanda in by 53-0 in the quarterfinals, before beating WP Super League side, Hamilton’s by 26-0 in the semifinals.
The team played three matches on Saturday, beating Uganda 29-5, before losing to the Kenyan national side (29-5) and the NZ Samurai (21-7).
The WP Amateurs will return to Cape Town on Monday.
