Tickets to DHL Western Province’s first two Carling Currie Cup matches against the Sigma Lions (Saturday 15 January) and Vodacom Bulls (Wednesday, 19 January) at DHL Stadium, will go on sale to the public at 09h00 on Tuesday, 11 January from Ticketpro.
This will be the first time since 2019 that the Faithful will be able to attend DHL Western Province matches, as they get their Carling Currie Cup campaign underway.
Following an initial offer to 2020 Newlands season ticket holders, the balance of the 2000 available tickets for these matches will go on sale from the Ticketpro website (CLICK HERE to visit Ticketpro website) from 09h00 on Tuesday at R125 each.
The Carling Currie Cup starts in January for the first time in its 137 year history this year and will run concurrently with the Vodacom United Rugby Championship, which means that DHL Western Province and the DHL Stormers will be in action in different competitions at the same time.
With a limited number of tickets available and up to 10 tickets available per person, make sure you get yours early to avoid disappointment.
All those attending will have to adhere to government regulations by following to the correct social distancing protocols, wearing a medical mask and presenting a COVID-19 vaccination document confirming full vaccination (Only fully vaccinated people will be allowed to attend) and ID along with their match ticket to gain entry to DHL Stadium.
Any person who does not have the correct documentation or is not wearing a medical mask will be denied entry to the venue, with no exceptions.
There will also be temperature checks and a verbal COVID-19 questionnaire for each spectator, with entry denied to anyone who does not comply with these regulations.
There will also be no hospitality available or alcohol on sale at the Carling Currie Cup matches at DHL Stadium this season.
Despite these limitations, these will be the first DHL Western Province game with a crowd at DHL Stadium and the Faithful are sure to lift the team as they look to make it a record 35th Carling Currie Cup title this season.
