Fuller comes in for DHL WP U21

Loose forward Divan Fuller will make his first appearance for DHL Western Province U21 in the encounter with Leopards U21 in Potchefstroom on Saturday.

Fuller’s inclusion on the flank means there are 11 players that featured for the senior side in the Carling Currie Cup in the starting XV, for the match at Olen Park which kicks off at 14h00 on Saturday.

Captain Paul de Villiers, locks Andre Goedhals and Patric Kitete and prop Zachary Porthen are the other starting forwards who played for DHL Western Province this season, while backline players Joel Leotlela, Joshua Boulle, Damian Markus, Jared Africa, Kyle Smith and Imad Khan also featured in the Carling Currie Cup.

Head Coach Johno van der Walt said that after a week’s break, his squad is looking forward to the trip up to Potchefstroom.

“The players understand how important this match is in the context of our season, so we will be giving it a full crack up there.

“We have some exciting players coming into the mix this week and they are all keen to make their mark against what will be a motivated Leopards team,” he said.
