DHL Newlands 2017 season ticket holders will have the unique opportunity to claim a free ticket to the double-header of T20 Challenge matches, at PPC Newlands Cricket Ground, on Sunday.
Although the rugby season ended when DHL Western Province lifted the Currie Cup for the 34th time, there are further exciting benefits for the DHL Newlands Faithful, who hold season tickets.
In another groundbreaking first, DHL Newlands season ticket holders will be able to cross sporting codes and show their support for our cricketing neighbours, free of charge.
There will be two 20 over matches at the famous old ground just down the road from DHL Newlands, with the Warriors facing the bizhub Highveld Lions at 12h00 before the WSB Cape Cobras take on the VKB Knights at 16h00 on Sunday.
Free tickets must be claimed by Friday, 24 November at the PPC Newlands ticket office, by showing your DHL Newlands 2017 season ticket.
Those who do not hold DHL Newlands season tickets can also claim free tickets to the cricket double-header by subscribing to the WSB Cape Cobras’ digital magazine. CLICK HERE
Western Province Rugby Group CEO, Paul Zacks, said that this is a great opportunity for DHL Newlands 2017 season ticket holders outside of the rugby season.
“We are very excited to stand together with our neighbours the WSB Cape Cobras and offer great additional benefits for our faithful season ticket holders,” he said.
