DHL Western Province U19 will be looking to build on their encouraging win in the opening round last week when they face Vodacom Bulls U19 in Pretoria on Friday.
There are just three changes to the starting line-up for the North-South encounter, which kicks off at 12h00 on Friday.
With tighthead prop Herman Lubbe called up to the DHL Western Province U21 side, Alfie Holm comes into the starting line-up in the only change up front.
Scrumhalf Cameron Whitson has been ruled out through injury, which means that Clyde Frieslaar gets an opportunity in the No.9 jersey, while Dale Martin starts on the wing in place of Siyabonga Ndlozi, who is playing for the Springbok Sevens Academy.
Head Coach Rito Hlungwani said that it was important to keep as much continuity in selection as possible for the trip up north.
“This is just our second match of the campaign and we want to give these combinations a chance to grow as we look to build on what was an encouraging performance last week.
“It has been a short week and we have put in some good work, but we know that there are a few key areas we need to improve on, so that has been our focus,” he said.
