DHL Western Province U19 have been bolstered by the inclusion of centre Gino Cupido, flank Xola Nyali and prop Herman Lubbe for their clash with Leopards U19 in Potchefstroom on Saturday.

All three players have featured for DHL Western Province U21 in recent weeks and will take their places in the starting XV for the U19 encounter at Olen Park, which kicks off at 12h00 on Saturday.

There is a switch in the backline, with Dominic Malgas moving to fullback and Shaywan Blankenberg at flyhalf, while in the forward pack Sasha Kadira-Anyata moves from No.8 to the flank.

Attack coach Labeeb Levy said that the squad put the bye week to good use and are ready to give their best in Potchefstroom.

“It is great to have a few of our top players come down from the U21 set-up and we are hoping they will make a big impact this weekend.

“There has been some hard work put in this week from both players and coaches, so hopefully we will see the results of that in our performance on Saturday,” he said.
