DHL Western Province U19 face Golden Lions U19 at City Park in Athlone on Friday.

There are four changes to the starting line-up for the encounter with the Johannesburg side, which kicks off at 12h00 on Friday at City Park.

The only change in the backline sees scrumhalf Cameron Whitson return to the fold, while there are three changes to the forward pack.

Flank CJ Gordon comes into the starting XV, having featured off the replacements bench last week while hooker Nic van Schalkwyk and No.8 Sasha Kadira-Anyata make their first appearances of the campaign.

Head Coach Rito Hlungwani said that his team is determined to make a big impression on their home turf.

“We were obviously very disappointed with the defeat in Pretoria last week, but we have kept the changes to a minimum as we look to build these combinations up.

“We are back at home and will need to raise our standards significantly across the board. It is a big challenge, but one that the players have embraced this week,” he said.
