DHL Western Province have been boosted by the inclusion of two backline players that featured in the Carling Currie Cup last week for their encounter with Vodacom Bulls U21 in Pretoria on Friday.
Scrumhalf Imad Khan and wing Gino Cupido both come into the starting line-up for the North-South clash, which kicks off at 15h00 on Friday.
Khan will link up with flyhalf Kyle Smith in the only other change to the backline that did duty in the win against the Hollywoodbets Sharks U21 last week.
There are just two changes to the forward pack, with Max du Pisani at No.8 and Yaseen Arendse coming into the second row.
Head Coach Johno van der Walt said that while it was good to get the win in Stellenbosch last week, his team know that it will be an altogether different challenge in Pretoria.
“It was great to get the campaign back underway with a win at home, but a trip to Pretoria is a different proposition.
“It is a short week and there are a few changes with some guys coming in from the senior side, so the focus has been on making sure we all understand exactly how we need to approach this match against a good Vodacom Bulls U21 side,” he said.
