The Western Province Transformation Committee met with all the DHL Western Province professional team coaches this week to map the way forward according to the SA Rugby Transformation Charter.

All the coaches – senior, Under-21 and Under-19 – were given an opportunity to present their blueprints in terms of the charter, whilst WPRFU President Thelo Wakefield addressed those present afterwards.

Mr Wakefield said: “It was a very fruitful exercise, to meet with all the coaches, but also very heartening to see just how committed WP Rugby is when it comes to transformation.

“Our record shows our commitment (towards transformation), but it’s all a result of hard work – both on and off the field from everyone at the union.”
