The DHL Western Province Under-19 team ended their 2013 Absa Under-19 Provincial campaign on a disappointing note, going down 0-38 to the Sharks in Durban.
The WP Under-19s had a tough season, winning just four matches in 2013 as they missed out on qualifying for the semifinals – having won this age-group title last year.
Coach Nazeem Adams lamented his team's tough campaign, telling www.wprugby.com: “We've been our own worst enemies this season, but it was disappointing ending on this
note.
“Yes, the results have not been good… but we've been able to develop and grow some players (this season) and, of course, we ended the season with three schoolboys, JD Schickerling, Jarryd Sage and Dewald Naude, in our team.”
