Moos comes in for DHL WP U21

PUBLISHED: May 9, 2025

Former Junior Springbok scrumhalf Asad Moos comes in for DHL Western Province U21 for the clash with Vodacom Bulls U21 in Pretoria on Saturday.

There are just two changes to the starting line-up that did duty in the win against Hollywoodbets Sharks U21 last week.

Moos starts at scrumhalf and will have the fit-again Ezekiel Ngobeni as his back-up on the replacements bench while in the forward pack Aden de Costa start at flank in place of the injured CJ Gordon.

Head Coach Johnno van der Walt said that his team know that they will need to raise their game to make it two wins to start the season.

“There were some pleasing signs last week, even though we are missing 10 players on Junior Springbok duty, but we know we will have to be even better to come away with a win up in Pretoria on Saturday.

“We have managed to keep some good continuity and will hopefully see a bit more cohesion from the combinations as we will need an 80-minute performance,” he said.
