The unbeaten DHL WP U18 team topped off a great week by dominating the final game, besting their northern rivals the Blue Bulls 29 (T5) – 5 (T1).
WP proved too strong for the Blue Bulls in the final match of the tournament, which was played in wet and heavy underfoot conditions. The Cape side scored five tries in their 29-5 victory, and finished the Craven Week unbeaten for the second-consecutive year.
In the earlier game, the DHL WP XV agonisingly lost 27(15)-26(14) to hosts SWD in a thriller.
There was recognition for a number of DHL WP players that shone at the week, when 14 DHL WP players were named in the SA Schools sides.
