There are five changes to the DHL Western Province U21 team that will take on Xerox Golden Lions U21 in the final league game of the season at Florida Park on Saturday.
With third place on the standings and a semifinal place already secured, DHL Western Province U21 can still move into second place depending on other results.
Up front hooker Schalk Erasmus is back after making his Currie Cup debut last week and tighthead prop Dandre Degenaar gets an opportunity to start in place of the injured Sazi Sandi, while Jesse Johnson starts at flank.
In the backline Abner van Reenen is at flyhalf, with Lyle Hendricks shifting to inside centre in place of Rikus Pretorius who is making his Currie Cup debut. Matthew More will start at outside centre to form a new midfield combination with Hendricks.
DHL Western Province U21 Head Coach Jerome Paarwater said that his team will be focused on taking winning momentum into the play-offs.
“We have found some encouraging form in recent weeks and it will be important for us to keep that momentum going.
“This is also a good opportunity to have a look at some different combinations as we build towards the play-offs,” he said.
