DHL Western Province U19 scored seven tries on their way to a comfortable 47-18 victory against Eastern Province U19 at Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Friday.
Two tries in the first half and five more after half-time saw the visitors pull away to pick up their fifth win of the campaign and consolidate their fourth place on the standings.
The teams traded tries early on, with wing Angelo Davids and fullback Duren Hoffman crossing the tryline for DHL Western Province U19.
The two conversions from flyhalf David Coetzer saw DHL Western Province U19 take a 14-10 lead into the half-time break.
The visitors cut loose in the second half, with Hoffman going over for his second and hooker Andile Nondwangu, scrumhalf Gerardo Jaars, flank Bevan Prinsloo and captain Francke Horn all getting on the scoresheet.
DHL Western Province U19 will finish the league phase of their campaign against Leopards U19 at City Park on Saturday, October 6.
