It was the third consecutive victory of the season for coach Nazeem Adams’ team, but they were forced to work hard for the result in a tight match.
The hosts grabbed the early ascendency with two tries that saw them establish a 12-3 advantage.
DHL Western Province U19 got back within striking distance with a try from Ryan Muller which narrowed the gap to 12-10 at the half-time break once converted by Williams.
The visitors took the lead early in the second half with an unconverted try from fullback Tristan Leyds as the rain began to fall steadily in Durban.
Sharks U19 drew things level with a penalty, but Williams would have the final say to secure a hard-fought victory in the end for DHL Western Province U19.
