WP Youth Rugby Department today announced a three year partnership with Spur and clothing manufacturer Genuine Connection, that will assist with the continued growth of Youth Rugby in the province. WP Youth Rugby currently oversees a Youth Programme that has 25 000 participants amongst the registered schools in the province.

Spur and Genuine connection will be involved for the next 3 years in the WP Spur Genuine Connection Mini Rugby Day held annually at De Kuilen High School. The tournament attracts over 4000 participants and has been running for 25 years, making it the biggest of its kind. Spur and Genuine Connection will ensure the continuation and growth of this tournament, whilst also providing each participant with a match jersey that can be used for the season.
