DHL WP 30 EP Kings 25

PUBLISHED: March 24, 2012

Province secured a great come-from-behind victory over the EP Kings at City Park, to remain unbeaten in this year’s Vodacom Cup. Province played into a significant South Easter in the first half and trailed 19-11 at halftime whistle.

Province trailed the EP team until the final move of the game when JP Du Plessis crossed the chalk and Catrakilis goaled the try to seal a hard fought 30-25 win over the EP Kings. The match formed part of a 50 years of rugby at City Park celebration. Coach John Dobson was happy with the result, “The team showed great character to secure the win and showcased some of the depth available at WP.”

Arendse and Du Plessis dotted down for Province with all the other points coming from the boot of Catrakilis.
