DHL WP U21s power ahead

The in-form DHL Western Province Under-21 team consolidated their position at the top of the 2015 Absa Provincial Under-21 log with a resounding 50-14 win over the Leopards U21s at DHL Newlands.

Flanker Luke Stringer and right-wing Sibahle Maxwane scored a brace of tries each, as the DHL WP Under-21s converted their 24-0 half-time lead into their fifth bonus point win of the season.

Flyhalf Brandon Thomson landed six conversions and one penalty goal, with the Leopards replying through a converted try double by left-wing Dean Stokes.

The DHL WP U21s – who made six changes to their team this week – will travel to Durban to take on the Sharks” Under-21s next weekend.
